Drabble:
To cheer myself up, I wrote a silly little sequel to yesterday’s drabble Wonders Never Cease because I had this whole elaborate scene in my head of Ambrose’s crazy workshop and his new look, which I couldn’t fit into the first part. Also, it's another venture into dialogue only.

Disclaimer: not mine, etc.etc, glitch/cain, big surprise, etc etc.

“Not that they aren’t mind bogglingly sexy, Glitch, but what’s with the leather pants?”

“Purely a matter of practicality, I assure you.”

”I’m sorry to hear that.”

“Funny, Tin Man. The third time sparks from the weld torch set my trousers on fire I decided it was time for something more durable.”

“And tighter?”

“This stuff’s expensive! It’s not my fault the tailor’s cheap.”

“I love your tailor.”

“Not more than me, I hope.”

“No one more than you, Sweetheart. But you know what I think?”

“Very rarely.”

“I think you know you look good in them.”

“Well? I do!”

LOL.

I love this, and I can't imagine that Glitch did anything simpley because it was practical. hee.

I love banter. I completely fail at writing good banter however, so I'll have to read others.

Thank you! For some reason I had this picture of the new Ambrose all decked out in black leather, streak of white in his hair where the zipper used to be, reigning over this workshop full of gadgets. *feels another drabble coming on*
